What a notice must include

A valid notice should include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature from an authorized rights holder or agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works.
  3. The exact URL of the material claimed to infringe the work.
  4. Your name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A good-faith statement that the use isn’t authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the notice is accurate and that you’re authorized to act for the rights owner, under penalty of perjury.

Counter-notification

If we remove your material after a notice and you believe the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notification to dmca@chalklens.org that meets 17 U.S.C. 512(g)(3).
